A true oddity. In the mid 1970's, Rogers produced it's own "skinny" drum. This drum by Sonor was it's competition.

In the 60's, there was a company called "Flatjacks" that produced whole kits made like this. They were not a success.

What's more surprising about this drum is its sound. It's more than acceptable for small jazz and commercial groups.
